Force method of conflict resolution is the use of military resources for the enforcement of peace
Non- Violence approach is a principle that was popularized by Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther Kind in their various human liberation from exploitation, tyranny. Also, Nelson Mandela in our contemporary time was one of the proponent of the principle.
Gandhi employed this approach to
end imperialism in India which later led to India freedom from the British rule.
Martin Luther King during the civil rights movement in America used this principle to
liberate the black colour citizens from the oppression and discrimination of the whites, though he was killed in the process but the goal was achieved. one major beneficiary of that struggle is Barrack Obama.
Reasons people disobey the law
- when there is patent injustice, its possible for some people to protest.
- open and obvious oppression by the authority.
- when there is no adequate form of redress for wrong perpetrated.
- As an alternative to violence
- policies and decisions of authority are at variance to there interest.
- because of its stabilizing effect
characteristics/features of civil-disobedience.
- the protest/act must be done publicly and not secretly.
- no personal or monetary gain.
- there must be reason for doing it either political, religious, social or economic reasons.
- importantly, there must be a clear deliberate violation of the law. take note of this point please.
- the act must be non-violent.

a common agreement that is distinct from peace, and is characterized by military activity, high social and political tension, and the break down of normal relations.
