What is the difference between Longitudinal and Transverse waves?
The vibrations in a Longitudinal wave are parrelel to the direction the wave is travelling, while in a transverse wave they are perpendicular.
What are the definitions of the following:
Amplitude
Wavefront
Frequency
Wavelength
Time Period
Amplitude- The Max disturbance caused by the wave. Measured from the highest point of the wave to the lowest
Wavefront- A line where all the waves are overlapping and are at the same point in the pattern and have the same difference
Frequency- The Number of waves per second produced by the source
Wavelength- The distance between a particular point on one wave and the next wave
Time Period- The time it takes to produce 1 wave

Waves transfer ______ and __________ without transferring ______
All waves can be ___________ and ___________
Equation for wave speed:
Wave Speed = Frequency x Wave Length
v = f x /|
Equation for frequency and time period
Frequency = 1 / Time Period
F = 1/T
