1.wkness- considered unethical - albert subjected to emotional distress (crying, whimpering etc.) BUT no ethical guidelines
2. strength - methodology, standardised procedure- throughout each test the same object were used for same purpose (noise,place, objects)
3. wkness - valid consent, couldn’t get from albert BUT did get from mother BUT was not fully informed and took albert out of study when she found out
