-pooled fresh plasma is filtered so cells and debris are removed helps to reduce transfusion related lung injury
what is cyroprecipitate
-has only the proteins that precipitate out after you freeze plasma during slow and cool thaw
What is cryosupernatant plasma
has everything except the proteins that end up in the cyroprecipitate
stored at -18 or colder for a maximum period of 12 months
