Could use article 48 to rule on his own in an ‘emergency’ 🥸☝️

Responsible for day to day running of the country
Needs support from minimum half of the Reichstag to introduce New laws

Proportional representation good or bad?

A

Too many different parties!!!!!👎👎👎 so hard to make decisions and introduce laws there was never even a party that had over 50% of the seats. This meant coalitions and deals must be made with smaller parties just to get things done

Some people actually preferred the ‘traditional rule of the kaiser’ 👴☝️ (this was basically the old, rich people)
Though having ONE strong leader did have its advantages and looked especially desirable compared to the chaos of the Reichstag

It was slow 🐌
