Hard soldering process

1. Ensure good fit between components.
2. Clean joint - remove grease etc. with emery cloth, wire brush.
3. Apply Flux to joint.
4. Set up work on fire bricks; check for accuracy.
5. Pre-heat gently to melt flux.
6. Heat until metal is at the melting point of the solder.
7. Melt the solder onto the metal, not in the flame. Allow time for the solder to flow.
8. Allow to cool.
