What are the Fara’idh actions of wudhu?
These are the obligatory actions:
- Washing face (top of forehead to bottom of chin, earlobe to earlobe)
- Washing hands (up to and including elbows)
- Wiping of the head (one-fourth)
- Washing feet (up to and including ankles)

Disliked actions of wudhu
- Using someone’s help to do wudhu
- Speaking about worldly matters
- Israf of water
- Using too little water when washing
- Washing limbs more than three times
- Striking the face with water when washing the face
- Tightly closing the eyes or mouth when washing face
- Performing Wudhu again before one has invalidated it or performed an act of worship
