Zoe Sugg- profile

A

-In 2009, 19 year old trainee interior designer Zoe Sugg starts a personal blog about fashion,lifestyle, and beaty under the nickname ‘zoella’ within a year it has over a thosad followers

-In later 2009, she diversifies into a vlog, creatign and posting vidoe content to the zoella channel on YouTube

-she has been in a relationship with fellow social media infuencer Alfie Deyes since 2012 and a lot of her content has been about their lives together

-it can be argued that zoella offers very little in the way of what might be called true diversity.

-Their is some engagement, however, with more progressive notions of gender identities in the form of Alfie Beins constructed as a hetrosexual, modern man through their use of products.

A

-Multi channel networks-are organisations that work with video platforms to offer assistance to channel others in areas such as product,programming, founding, cross-potential, product management, digital rights management, money retention/sales, and on audience displacement in exchange for a percentage of the ad revenue from the channel.

-basically,they act like an agent for the content creator,securing sponsorships or advertisement deals for the creator providing them with media technology back up for any move involved content they might want to create.

-they will take a percentage of the revenue that is generated from the deals

-quite early on, Zoella would have been able to maintain her youtube channel through the youtube partnership programme.

-To be eligible channels have to have over 1000 subscribers and over 4000 hours of their content has to have been viewed.

-arguably be ‘adverier friendly’-55/45% split-regulation

-in 2010, zoella joins her first MCM-style howl-style howl gives out of business in 2010

A

-female

-origionally, 13-14, but this has now developed to also reach a more mature 25-35 demographic who would have grown up with zoella

-BC1C2-The ‘a’s have it-everybody else wants it- middle class audiecnes with a decent level of education

-Mainstreams and aspirers-very much into fashion and trends (the zelgegist) at reacted by consumer items that connote exclusivity and status. The aspiriat tribe as research suggests.
