A

Quickening = first fetal movements felt by the mother (usually 18–20 weeks).
- Movements become stronger as the baby grows.

Estrogen and other hormones

A

Hormones increase:
- Estrogen → helps uterus grow, increases blood flow.
- Progesterone → relaxes muscles, prevents early contractions.
- These hormones can cause mood shifts and physical changes.
