When Is a New Dispatch Release Required?
1- Change of Flight Number
2- Change of PIC or SIC
3- Change of aircraft
4- Change affecting the minimum/required fuel
5- Flight that has returned to the departure airport (return to field)
6- Change of destination (aircraft still on the ground)
7- Flight delayed more than 2 hours
8- Flight that has been diverted and ready to depart
9- Change of an alternate or addition of an alternate (aircraft still on the ground)
When is a Dispatch Release Amendment needed?
1- Change of an alternate or addition of an alternate (inflight)
2- Change of destination (inflight)
3- Addition or deletion of a MEL/CDL
4- Actual takeoff weight exceeds planned takeoff weight by 1000 pounds or more
What is Required Fuel?
Fuel from brake release for takeoff. To fly to destination and then fly to the most distant alternate airport and then fly for 45 minutes at normal cruise fuel consumption.
What is RAMP fuel?
MIN TO plus taxi and extra fuel.
