Acceptance confirms that the terms of the offer are agrred on,once terms are accepted there is a legally binding contract.
Does an offer have to be accepted in the same way its made?
Acceptance can take place in any form,it doesnt have to be the same way the offer is made (Yates v Pulleyn)

What is acceptance by post?
The postal rule only applies to letters of acceptance,acceptance only takes place when the letter is posted (Adams v Lindsell)
What are the rules that apply to acceptance by post?
-Post must be usual or expected means of communication
-The letter must be properly addressed and stamped
-The offeree must be able to prove the letter has been posted
What is the electronic method?
Offer is accepted if the single person signing document intends to authenticate document or…formalities relating to executing that document are satisfied e.g accepting terms and conditions.
