Participating in training and checking program exempts you from the 3 IAP within 90 days rule
IPC required? Can we use it outside of company ops?
CASR 61.695 No training and checking program at Qlink exempts us from an annual IPC.
Only valid for operations conducted by the operator not outside QLink
Is FRMS Manual approved by casa?
Yes we operate under our own FRMS rule set that has been approved by CASA under CAO 48.1 appendix 7
What does CASR part 99 require of Qantas?
Drug and Alcohol Management program (DAMP)
What does Qantas require of all employees for BAC and drugs?
Zero blood alcohol level and be drug free
Post incident what happens with regard to DAMP?
Any staff member involved in an accident or safety incident must undertake a post incident alcohol and other drug test.
Breath test within 8hrs and 32hrs for urine test
Can Qantas do random DAMP testing?
They can only random drug test you. They can’t random alcohol test you.
