How early does BDOC report for duty before guardmount?
Report for duty 45 to 60 minutes before their shift’s scheduled guardmount time.
(Note: Both individuals will ensure off-going personnel have cleaned the BDOC before conducting relief.)
What should BDOC do before assuming duties?
Conduct a joint inventory with off going Desk Sergeant using Attachment 9.
Read the pass-on book and brief FC on anything important.
Receive a detailed briefing of all incidents occurring/occurrd.
Review off-going blotters.
Record mobile patrols vehicles.
Sign on to UCIJIS/OpenFox NCIC web-based system and sign off before being relieved at shift change.
Promptly answer telephones and assist walk-up customers.
Control the Security Forces Land Mobile Radio (LMR) net. This is a directed radio net.
What should BDOC conduct every 4 hours / 2 hours?
Conduct communications checks with post and patrols at four-hour
intervals for normal/day security operations and at two-hour intervals during emergency/night security operations.
Status checks with Lima patrols, Little Mountain Test Facility (LMTF) will be conducted every two hours due to being geographically separated with limited communication capability
What brief do you give before every exercise?
Give a weapons, vehicle and ground safety briefing before the initiation of any exercise.
What does BDOC maintain daily?
The AFJIS Global Blotter will be used to maintain a daily blotter of significant events that occur during a duty shift.
What BDOC form is used when AFJIS is down?
When an AFJIS outage occurs, the BDOC/ECC controller will document
entries via AF Form 53.
Who approves daily blotters?
The Flight Chief will review or return for corrections and approve by adding their digital signature.
What checks are conducted daily with local LEAs?
Check with local LEAs at the beginning of each shift for any civil incarceration of DAF service-affiliated personnel
