• then they become trunks, just superior to clavicle, then splits into a posterior and anterior division
• then they become cords, posterior cord gets all 3 posterior division, lateral cord gets anterior divisions from sup and middle trunks, medial cord gets anterior division from inferior trunk
• lateral cord becomes musculocutaneous and median nerve
• posterior cord becomes axillary and radial nerve
• medial cord becomes ulnar and median nerve
