- localised pain and tenderness over burse
- swelling if superficial
Management of non-septic bursitis
1st line:
- conservative & analgesia (paracetamol, topical NSAIDs)
2nd line:
- steroid injection (methylprednisolone acetate)
3rd line:
- surgery (very rarely done)
