The treaty that ended the revolution and declared America an independent nation. It included fours main clauses.
Effects
1) Britain would recognize America as it’s own country
2) The Mississippi River would be America’s western boundary
3) Americans would have fishing rights off the coast of Canada
4) America would pay debts owed to British merchants and honor land claims made my loyalists.
Significance
Ended the revolution and birthed America as a new nation, led to territorial expansion and granted a mass amount of land, west of the Mississippi.
