Low Camera Angle
A low angle is used to demonstrate a power imbalance and usually the person which a low angle of them has more power as it is seen as looking down on someone.
High Camera Angle
A high camera angle shows a power imbalance, the character with a high camera angle on them usually is inferior to others and is seen as weak or being looked down upon.
Dutch Camera Angle
A dutch angle is used to distort and confused the audience by making the scene seem surreal. The camera is tilted to one side warping how the scene looks compared to a level ground.
Bird’s eye view
A bird’s eye view is when the camera is places quite high above the subject as it follows it from above in place of what a bird would see if they were to look down.
Worm’s eye view
A worm’s eye view is when the camera is placed so close to the ground looking up at the subjects that the scene also seems surreal and it make look like they are looking at something on the ground.
Eye-Level Angle
An eye level angle is when the camera is places eye level with the subject so it looks like they are looking directly at you.
Over-The-Shoulder
An over the shoulder camera angle is used when two people have a conversation and is good at showing the emotion on the person’s face that the camera faces as it can be quite up close. It can also suggest the dynamic of characters.
Point of View
A POV angle is when the camera is positioned to be in the place of the character and seeing what the charact it is focused on would see.
