Q

What were Jesus’ instructions about towns when sending the 72 ahead?
(Jesus sends out the Seventy-Two)

A

When entering a town and are welcomed, eat what is offered. Heal the sick who are there and tell them. ‘ The Kingdom of God has come near to you.’ But when entering a town and are not welcomed, go into its streets and say, ‘ Even the dust of your town we wipe from our feet as a warning to you. Yet be sure of this: The Kingdom of God has come near.’ I tell you, it will be more bearable on that day for Sodom than for that town.

A

An expert of the law tested Jesus and asked Him how to inherit eternal life.

Jesus replied and asked him what is written in the Law and how do you read it?

The expert answered” Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Jesus replied, “ You have answered correctly,” “ Do this and you will live.”

Then the expert asked Jesus “ And who is my neighbour? because he wanted to justify himself.

Q

Narrate the parable of the good Samaritan (The Parable of the Good Samaritan)

A

A man goes down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and was attacked by robbers and his clothes were stripped and he got beat, leaving him half dead. A priest went down the same road but ignored the man. So too a Levite came to the place and saw him, but he ignored Him.

But a travelling Samaritan came and saw him, took pity on him, bandaged his wounds and poured oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him. The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper and told the innkeeper to look after the man and said, ‘ and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.’
