A

A melanocytic haemartoma
(abnormal collection of pigment producing melanocytes, with low growth potential)

What are the red flag features of a choroidal naevus which would warrant referral to Liverpool Ocular Oncology?

A

Off the top of my head…

1) Lipofuscin (orange pigment on lesion, observed on fundus exam/photo)
2) SRF
3) Thickness >2mm
4) Growth in size or large size to begin with
