  • shevchenkos owner moved him from the fields to a hosue boy, then they moved to St. Petersburg
  • once there renter made money off Shevchenkos paintings
  • made high friends in the art community, applied to fine art academy in st. petersburg, the high ppl he rubbed shoulders w are helping him get ot art school
  • these people also bought him so hes now free (no longer surf)
  • begins writing poerty in Ukrainian
  • super revolutionary, changing the game (puts himself in the poetry)
