start within 10 sec of cardiac arrest
allow complete chest recoil between

hold mask tightly against face
give 2 breaths & watch for chest to rise
each over 1 second
30:2 compression -> breaths
Defibrillator
don’t put patch over med patch or pacemaker
when analyzing, stop touching body
after shock, begin compressions
for 2 rescuers to children

same depth
depending on size of child, use 1 or 2 hands
if watch drop, get help first
if find kid, start cpr immediately. do 5 cycles then call help

keep head lower than chest
5 back slaps, 5 compressions
