• no lifting >10lbs
• no pushing/pulling anything that increases headaches or feeling of fullness in head
• avoid bending forward/placing head below heart
• no holding breath/bearing down for exercises
• keep head higher than rest of body
• avoid driving 1-4 weeks post-op
