Content (Plan type definition)

The Content form is where you add the sections that make up the contents of your plan of care using the buttons correlated with the intended section. There are three options to select from:

Assessment. Assessment sections are the sections for your plan-specific notes that are created from within the plan. For other types of notes, create a Print Group section.
Print Group. Print Group sections generate text based on information in the patient’s chart. These sections cannot be edited by users without changing the source information in the patient’s chart.
Multiple Assessment. These are assessment sections that allow more than one note.

Critical For the assessment sections, which are where participants add their notes to the plan, Epic recommends using the Multiple Assessment type rather than the Assessment type. Multiple Assessment sections help reduce the overall length of a plan by allowing participants to add multiple notes to a single section, rather than having a dedicated section for each participant role
