Differentiation process
Multiply everything with an “x” by the power of that x and then subtract that power by 1.
Differentiation notation
dy/dx = …
f’(x) = …
Differentiating when “x” is the denominator
Separate the fraction into ?/1 x 1/x (1/x = x⁻¹)
Example: ie 3/x -> 3/1 x 1/x -> (3x⁻¹)
Differentiating when “x” is the numerator
Separate the fraction into 1/? x x/1 (x/1 = x)
Example: ie x/3 -> 1/3 x x/1 -> (1/3x)
