38
How should the Strip Steak be altered to be dairy free?
Substitute a different side for the garlic mashed potatoes. Rice or extra vegetables may be a good suggestion. Make a note of the dairy allergy, so that the kitchen cooks it on and clean surface and does not top it with butter or onion tangles.
39
How should the Strip Steak be modified to make it gluten free?
Make a note of the gluten allergy, so that the kitchen will cook it on a clean surface and not top it with the onion tangles. All sides with this item are already gluten free.
40
What if someone wants to order an entree, but doesn't like the items that come with it? What can they substitute? What can't they substitute?
In general, any "side" component can be swapped for any other in a meal. That is, asparagus, carrots, Catawba vegetable medley, cauliflower mash, mashed potatoes, and fries, can be substituted for each other by making a note in Toast. However, soups and salads are sold as separate menu items, and *cannot* be used a substitute for an item in an entree.
41
What if a guest is avoiding gluten? Which sides can they eat safely? Which should they avoid?
Asparagus, carrots, Catawba vegetable medley, mashed potatoes, and cauliflower mash are all gluten free. Fries are cooked in a shared fryer, so they are unsafe.
42
What if a guest is avoiding dairy? Which sides can they eat safely? Which should they avoid?
Asparagus and carrots are dairy free. Rice is currently the only dairy free "starchy" side. (Note: this card and many other allergy cards are incomplete, but I'm working on getting more information. If you know anything, please share it!)
43
When does the dinner menu begin? What time is the menu limited, and what can be ordered during that time?
Dinner menu begins at 4:30 Tuesday-Saturday, and 2:00 on Sunday. The menu is limited between 4 and 4:30 Tuesday-Saturday, and 1:30-2 on Sunday as the kitchen switches from Lunch to Dinner. During this time, only items that are present on both menus can be ordered. That is, all appetizers, soups, salads, bowls, and burgers. Entrees and pizzas will have to wait until after dinner starts.

It doesn’t! The price and portion size of the protein remains the same, regardless of the salad size.
