Written question under oath in which a party to a case has 30 days to answer.

Requests to produce
Rule 34
Written request for discovery from parties, but also from non-parties if they are subpeonaed.
Medical Exam
Rule 35
Request for a medical exam requires a court order and the party’s condition must be in controversy to show good cause.
*only ordered in reference to a party or someone in parties custody. Does not einclude employer/employee.
Request for Admission
Rule 36
A party may request admission or denial of the truth of matters within the scope of the discovery.
Failure to deny within 30 days is an admission.
Duty to supplement
Party’s maintain a duty to supplement and documents they have disclosed if they learn it is incomplete or incorrect.
