Conditions of binomial distribution
There are a fixed number of trials.
There are two possible outcomes (success and failure).
There is a fixed probability of success.
The trials are independent of each other.
Uniform distribution
When the probabilities of all outcomes are the same, eg. a fair dice
Normal distribution formula
Z = (x - µ) / σ
Where Z is the outcome of typing mean = 0 and standard diviation = 1 into inverse normal
Formula to help with inverse binomial distribution
(1 - p)^n = probability (x = 0)
where n is the number of trials
and where p is the probability of success
Normal distribution conditions
n is large
p is close to 0.5
