room for the drape to fully open
without breaking sterility

Explain the process of folding the drape in preparation to lay it on the patient?

1. Fold over approx. 10 – 15cms of drape
   away from yourself

2.Hold the drape at the folded corners,
one in each hand, wrapping the corner
over your hand (so that the drape
covers your hands)

Place the 1st drape longitudinally down the length of the animal, this is usually the side closest to you
