It is a current that is produced by a cell or batteries. It only flows in one direction.

It is an electrical current that comes from a plug point. It changes direction 100 times per second.

It comes from a power station. These power stations burn mostly coal to produce electricity.
What is resistance?
Resistance is the effect on the brightness of bulbs. The more bulbs we add in a circuit, the greater the resistance, and the greater the resistance, the dimmer the bulb gets.
What does resistance do?
