1. Inform the bridge that you have a suspected scavenge fire and request emergency slow ahead
2. Inform the chief
3. Close scavenge drains
4. set up boundary cooling
5. Use fixed firefighting systems in scavenge space
6. monitor for fire spreading to other units
7. If temperature does not drop, lift the fuel pump to the affected unit.
