APU OIL HIGH TEMP caution light
- Shut down immediately
- Allow to cool for 60 minutes
- Check oil level
If within limits- restart and continue operations If out of limits- troubleshoot APU
Ignition off start attempt
Do not place ignition switch “on” until about start procedures have been completed
Starter light goes out before reaching 52% NG
Do not re-engage starter due to possible engine over temp
Engine does not light off after 30 seconds
- PCL Retard to shut off
- Ignition switch. Off
- Engine starter for 30 seconds
- Monitor for post shutdown fire
Engine starter does not drop out
- PCL Pull down
- Start circuit breaker pull
- Remove air source by securing APU
Engine Abort start
- PCL. Shutoff
- Ignition switch. Off
- Starter button. 30 seconds
- Engine starter. Disengage( pulldown PCL)
Internal engine fire
- PCL. OFF
- Ignition switch. Off
- Starter button. 30 seconds
If fire persists, continue monitoring while fire guard discharges fire bottle into engine. If fire warning light illuminates, follow the external engine fire procedures
APU Compartment Fire
- Confirm Indications with fire guard
- APU fire t-handle Pull
- Fire EXT switch Reserve
- Portable fire extinguisher as required
- Fuel pump switch. Off
- APU control. Off
External engine fire
- Confirm with fire guard
- PCLs. Off
- Fire t handle. Pull
- Fire ext switch. Main
- Portable fire ext as required
Rotor brake slip
- PCL. Off
- Rotor brake maintain position
- Do not restart engines until brake slippage cause has been remedied
