What are the key learning points of the Ethics Module?

A

Moral standards which provide descion making in situtations where right and wrong are unclear, coinsides with virtue ethics which is inbedded within the individual

Deontologist = Rule are there for positve outcome
Consequentalist = Rules are there because they lead to consequence if not followed

Give me examples of the 5 ROC in your experience?

A

Rule 1 - When a client asked when a tender pack would be completed and returned, I ensured to reveiw my resource and the agreed time scale set out in the fee proposal, this allowed me to respond in honsety

Rule 2 - When reviewing works progress at Willow Ward Roof Replacment, the lourve face had chanaged to new type, I instructed such advise such be sough from an M&E engineer, this allowed me to not step out my competence and ensured my client recived the most suitable advise from the most qualifed person to give it

Rule 3 - Ahead of a site walk around to review final agreed specification at Mayfield, I translated the written SoW into indicative drawings for ease and understanding

Rule 4 - I partake in cultrual days at my office

Rule 5 - Prior to posting on Linked Inn, I ensure I abide with the Use of Social Media (Regulation) doucment 2022 to not undermine public confidence
