Fire FFOD Test

7 Red, 4 Green

Answer 1

1. FIRE DETECTION TEST button - Press and hold for 2 seconds
2. Verify these EICAS msg and indications:
   - FIRE SYS OK advisory msg
   - Both MASTER WARNING lights on
   - LH and RH ENG FIRE PUSH lights on
   - APU FIRE PUSH light on
   - BOTTLE 1 and BOTTLE 2 ARMED PUSH TO DISCH lights on
   - APU BOTTLE ARMED PUSH TO DISCH lights on
   - FWD and AFT CARGO SMOKE PUSH lights on
   - BOTTLE ARMED PUSH TO DISCH light on
3. When the test is complete, verify all msgs removed.

Question 2

Hydraulic FFOD Test

Answer 2

1. All HYD Pump switches off
2. Verify HYD SOV 1(2) CLOSED advisory messages out
3. HYD page
4. Disengage STAB TRIM and verify STAB TRIM caution msg
5. HYD 1, 3B, 2 - ON
6. Check all fluids at least 45% and normal press and temp
7. STAT page
8. Engage STAB TRIM CH1 and 2

If SPLR/STAB IN TEST advisory msg appears, don’t touch rudder pedals, tiller, hyd pump switches or disengage stab trim for 60 SECONDS

9. HYD page
10. HYD 1, 3B, 2 - AUTO
11. Verify pressure depletion
12. HYD 3A - ON
13. Check press, quantity and temp for SYS 3 normal
14. Done: all switches down

Question 3

Ice Detector FFOD Test

1. DET switchlight - press and hold
2. Verify:
   - ICE light illuminates
   - ICE caution msg appears
   - ADS HEAT TEST OK advisory msg appears
3. Release and verify all msgs out
