A

Myofascial - muscle, tendon, fascia lengthening/extensibility
Joint - bone, cartilage, capsular changes
Neuromuscular - nervous system influences
Psycho-psychological - stretch tolerance of the muscle

True vs apparent ROM?

A

True - ROM that is observed at a specific joint and isolated to that joint

Apparent - ROM that is observed at a specific joint but also includes the movement of other joints
- e.g. use of lower back in hip extension
