Q

What happens for the stimlus to create a fMRI BOLD response?

A
  • Triggers a neuronal activity leading to neurovascular coupling and then a haemodynamic response which is then detected by the MRI scanner

Q

What is neurovascular coupling?

A

Dyanmci process where neuronal activity singals the brain’s blood vessels to adjust blood flow to match the brain’s energy demands
