16
Q

What would you expect from wines labelled Beerenauslese (BA), Eiswein or Trockenbeerenauslese (TBA)?

A

There is too much sugar in these grapes for them to fully ferment so they would be sweet wines.
BA and TBA are botrytis affected so would have flavours of orange peel or tertiary marmalade.
Eiswein are from a protracted harvest that continues all the way to winter.
