Feedback
It is to give information to someone about their learning and/or showing them that we have understood what they have said. It can be towards the teacher, but mainly to the students: language skills, behaviour, attitude or learning progress.
Through doing this we motivate and encourage learners autonomy.
Balance feedback.
It should be balanced, in other words, focused, so the learner knows exactly what the good points are and what the problems are.
Feedback to the teacher.
Students need guidance to help them to provide a better feedback, so, it is better to provide a guidance or framework to work with (like dairies).
