Why do we need to maintain models?

As change activities are completed across the Enterprise, it is necessary to proactively review our published and PACE Certified process models to be sure they accurately reflect the activities being performed and contain the right controls to meet business and process objectives.

What are the 4 activities in our model maintenance approach?

1. Identify the change trigger(s).
2. Understand the impact to the Process Objective.
3. Evaluate the Process Design.
4. Document and update the PACE certified model.

Note: these may be performed iteratively and/or at the same time.
