- Throttles Off
- Battery - Off
(Time and conditions permitting, alert the ground controlling agency and the other crewmember of egress intentions prior to shutting the battery off)
What should you do with excessive hydraulic pressure on the ground?
Cycling the flight controls once may reduce indicated hydraulic pressure indication if air has been introduced into the respective hydraulic system during servicing
- Throttle gate - DISENGAGE
- Affected engine - SHUT DOWN
What should you do if you smell something but you cannot identify what it is?
Consider that odor toxic
What should you do for smoke, fumes, or odors in cockpit on the ground
- Abort
- Oxygen - 100% (If odor persists consider the use of emergency oxygen. If emergency oxygen is used, disconnect from normal aircraft oxygen supply.)
- Check for fire.
- CABIN PRESS Switch - RAM DUMP
- CANOPY - Open (make sure you are within ops limits)
What should you do for an overpressurization of oxygen system on the ground?
- Oxygen supply hose(s) - hang over the side of the aircraft
- Oxygen pressure regulator(s) - EMERGENCY - 100% - ON
- Note oxygen pressure and notify ground personnel
