What is Hellison’s 1st Level?
level one is irresponsible. Some examples of this would be talking during instructions, not playing by the rules, not participating, hogging space/equipment and creating an unsafe environment.
What is Hellison’s 2nd Level?
The second level is self-control. This would be not disrupting class, listens, but does not actively participate/follow directions, no effort and does not help with equipment.
What is Hellison’s 3rd Level?
The third level is involvement. This is following basic classroom rules/procedures/directions, follows rules of the game and basic sportsmanship principles, willing to try/are involved in activities and puts equipment away when asked.
What is Hellison’s 4th Level?
The fourth level is self responsibility. This is being honest and fair, admits mistakes and apologizes, helps with the equipment without being told to, works with/helps others and shows respect and good sportsmanship.
What is Hellison’s 5th Level?
The fifth level is caring. Level five exhibits all of level four, ask/provides assistance to teacher/other students, works with everyone, encourages others, leads dynamic, and carries these principles in all aspects of life
