Stress response stage 1:

A

Alarm: sympathetic stimulation (fight or flight). There is a release of hormones, specifically epinephrine
- a positive reaction and takes only sections
-prepares you for action/ self-defense

A

Resistance: starts when coping starts. Over time, may become desensitized or adapted. HR and BP return to normal.
