What is IFR?

A

Regulations governing aircraft operations when a flight by outside reference is unsafe. Instructs the pilot how to operate the aircraft when flying using the instruments.

A

Weather minimums for IFR?

A

Pilots fly IFR when the weather tells them to, or the flight is in class A airspace. Pilots must be instrument rated to fly IFR

What are IFR cruising altitudes?

A

0-179 course, odd 1000 foot intervals. 180-359 even 1000 foot intervals.
