Negative commands (tú) — how to form them
Use the subjunctive tú form.
Formula: No + (present subjunctive tú)
✅ No hables así. — Don’t talk like that.
✅ No comas demasiado. — Don’t eat too much.
✅ No vivas con miedo. — Don’t live in fear.

Use present subjunctive usted form.

Use present subjunctive nosotros form.

IRREGULAR IMPERATIVO – AFFIRMATIVE “TÚ” FORMS
Negative irregular commands
All irregulars take their present subjunctive forms:
No digas, no hagas, no vayas, no pongas, no salgas, no seas, no tengas, no vengas.
✅ No digas eso. — Don’t say that.
✅ No vayas tarde. — Don’t be late.
Reflexive commands (affirmative & negative)
Affirmative: attach pronoun to the end → levántate
Negative: before the verb → no te levantes
✅ Dúchate ahora. — Take a shower now.
✅ No te preocupes. — Don’t worry.
