Pitot Systems record________ and ________ to find _________.
Pitot Systems record Total Pressure and Static Pressure to find Dynamic Pressure.
Errors in the measurement of a pitot static pressure system will bring errors in the indications of? (4)
The alternate static port inside the aircraft will suffer from______ causing a reading higher/lower than external static pressure.
Position Error is, and will cause eronious readings in which instruments?
Any error with in the Pitot Static System causing incorrect readings in the pitot static instruments.
Position Error is broken into two sub catagories which are?
The Defintion of Configuration error is, and will still affect what instruments?
A known error that is resolved during flight testing and is caused by the configuration of the aircraft such as flap position, undercarriage position and angle of attack. This error will be programmed out in the ADC but will still exist in standby instruments.
The definition of Manoeuvre Error is?
Manoeuvre Error is caused by rolling, pitching or yawing and random gusts of winds, this can not be programmed out.
Dynamic Heating is caused by and is also known as? (3)

What is the calculation to find Celsius from Farenheight?
(F-32) x 5 ÷ 9
What is the calculation to find farenheit from celsius?
(C x 9 ÷ 5) + 32
What are the two types of Angle of Attack Sensors?
How does the accelerometer record acceleration?
The coils in the are wound in opposite directions so teh flux detector in each leg will cancel each other out and there will be no signal. When the bobweight (ibar) is displaced it will no longer equal 0 and an output signal will be generated. A signal is then fed to re-centre the bob weigh and this is measured as it is the equievelant of the force felt.
The IRS will have how many of this type of accelerometer and how will they be mounted?
It will have three of this type of accelerometer mounted at right angles to each other.
