Themes & Templates
A Theme is a predefined set of colors, fonts, and effects. The de fault is often the Ofice sa master file that includes themes. A Tenplate is e purpose.
Printing
Notes Pages layout prints one slide per page wvith its associated notes.
Slide Master
Default footer placcholders are Date, Footer text, and Slide Number. The Presentation Title is not a default footer.
Inserting Media
INSERT→ Online Pictures is used to search for royalty-free clip art on Office.com. To copy a chart, you would most likely use Excel. MPEG is a video format, not a standard PowerPoint audio format. Supported audio includes MP3 and WAV.
Design for Readability
The easiest color combination to read is dark blue background with white text (high contrast). For large amounts of text, a serif font is often a good choice.
Transitions & Animations
Slide Transition: The visual effect when moving from one slide to the next (e.g., Fade, Drape, Wind, Glitter). Animation: The visual effect applied to content (text, images) on a single slide (e.g., Fade In, Wipe, Fly In).
Delivery & Features
Delivery methods include: publishing online, saving to a drive, live narration, and playing on a loop. The Photo Album feature is designed to quickly create a slideshow of pictures.
Editing Text & Objects
AutoFit automatically resizes text to fit inside a placeholder. Edit text by clicking in a placeholder and typing.
