What are cartilaginous joints and where can it be found?
Joints with no movement or little movement with bones held together by fibrocartilage. Can be found in the jaw or spine.
What is synovial joints and where can they be found?
A fluid filled space surrounded by a capsule and held together by ligaments. Allows for large range of movement. Could be found in places like the stifle.
What can some synovial joints contain?
Menisci - a fibrocartilage pad for shock and absorption and protection
