Climb

A

When OAT is less than 80° F, lean mixture to indicate one line above the green arc on the fuel flow gauge. When OAT is more than 80° F, leave the mixture full rich. Leave climb setting until cruise unless engine roughness is experienced

Cruise

A

Lean to proper fuel flow per the POH. At cruise power, EGTs should be approximately 1400°. Monitor CHTs to ensure they remain below 435°

A

From cruise, enrichen the mixture one-half turn for each 1000’ of altitude change to compensate for increasing air density.
