Q

neural pathways

A

neurological changes occur as a result of learning
connections between neurons (neural pathways) can change and do change in response to our experiences
this is called neuroplasticity
these neural pathways form at the synaptic level

Q

synaptic plasticity

A

refers to the ability of synapse to change
these changes can include
- strengthening of connections, through continual use, or growth of new connections
- weakening of connections, through disuse, resulting in decay of existing connections
