A

Designed to test the extent to which the nurses would obey the doctors commands even if they are asked to do something that is highly dangerous and at risk for the patient. 22 real nurses were phoned by Dr Smith (a researcher) who told the nurses to increase the dosage on the patients (dangerous). The medication was not real (placebo) and it was test to see if nurses would obey the orders of someone of authority.
