A
Moderate to severe pain
Especially if use of fentanyl and ketamine isn’t appropriate

3ml ( one dose ) for child less than 12 years old
6ml ( two doses ) for greater than 12 years old

Known severe allergy Malignant hyperthermia Unable to obey commands Known renal impairment Has had methoxy in the last week

A
Age equal to or greater than 75 years old ( renal impairment is common )
Pre eclampsia
Administration in a confined space
